Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care attends to the caring ministry of our community.  We all find ourselves in need now and then, for practical help, a kind word, or a listening ear.  It is a blessing to belong to a community we can turn to in times of need.  It's also a blessing to be able to give when we can.

Caring Committee
Our caring committee is a lay-led team of church members available to provide practical assistance to church members.  When aware of a need in the community and in consultation with our Pastor,  volunteers step up to provide a ride to a doctor's appointment, deliver a home-made meal, check-in with a phone call, or many other kinds of practical assistance.

Pastoral Counseling
Our Pastor is trained to provide short-term counseling for church members encountering life situations that raise spiritual concerns and questions.

Jazzanova - Music Mends Minds
Wednesdays, 1:30 - 3:30pm in the Sanctuary
Jazzanova brings together volunteer jazz musicians to have fun playing music and to create a healing environment for persons dealing with memory loss and other mental conditions.  Drop-in listeners and performers are always welcome.
