What UUCSC Means To Me

I am and have been a Friend of this Unitarian church for almost 10 years and I believe that my dear wife, Virginia, is the longest active member at over 50 years. For the past 10 years of our 20-year marriage, I never attended services because of my Jewish heritage and my discomfort at going to a “church.” This is no longer a problem, even though I would prefer to substitute “congregation” for “church.” So why do I love being a Unitarian? It’s all written in a wonderful book, Our Chosen Faith. Finally, what a joy and inspiration this “church” is–and especially our fantastic minister, Jay Atkinson.
