My goal is to help our Turning Tides explore the UU faith through art, meditation, readings and discussion. To encourage our young people to become more independently organized, participants are invited to research each topic and share what they learned with the group. Together, we plan field trips, worship services, and service projects. Emphasis is placed on our UU principals as we learn about different ways of spiritual practice.

The Coming Of Age program at UUCSC is a chance for teenagers to work with a UUCSC mentor to explore how the Unitarian Universalist faith works in real life. They go on field trips, meet with the minister, experience different spiritual practices and create a statement of belief for themselves. This empowering experience culminates with a claiming of their faith June 15th in front of the whole
