ValleyHeart CUUPS

ValleyHeart CUUPs is part of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans, an affiliate group of Unitarian Universalism.  Our membership extends to all the valley congregations but our home church is UUCSC.

We are a small-group ministry designed to allow anyone interested in learning more about earth-based religious practices to come together in fellowship and share traditions from all over the world.  A typical meeting would take place near or on the full or new moon in the rainbow room or outside in the grove area.  A topic is chosen ahead of time so everyone comes prepared to share in the group discussion.  We are invited to place an item on our community altar representing what we are working on in life and together we set an intention, co-create a brief ritual, and then partake in a potluck feast. Everyone from the experienced practitioner to the curious “muggle” is encouraged to attend with a beginner’s mind as we are all there to learn together in the spirit of the 3rd principal, “Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.”

Occasionally, CUUPs will present worship services or special events for the entire congregation to enjoy. Look for us during the Solstice, Equinox, or cross-quarter days like Hallows or May Day. All are invited to dig for their pagan roots and feel the power of the Earth, Moon and stars as we transform our lives for the better in fellowship.
