Your special event deserves a special location. Centrally located in the
San Fernando Valley, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City
is the perfect spot for weddings, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies,
memorial services and other special events such as parties, dances and
concerts. For weddings, many couples do not have a church affiliation,
while other couples have ties to more than one religious tradition. Our
Events Coordinator will be happy to work with these couples to create
a satisfying, personal ceremony.
Our minister is also available to help couples create ceremonies both beautiful and meaningful. Or, couples can bring in their own officiant, with permission from UU Church of Studio City. Families without church affiliations may also choose to commemorate and celebrate the life of a loved one in our lovely sanctuary. Our minister will give thoughtful consideration to the needs and wishes of the family. Or, again, the family can bring in their own officiant, with permission from UU Church of Studio City. The acoustics of our sanctuary are particularly well-suited to concerts of any kind, and our grand piano is considered a very fine instrument.
Our Fellowship Hall features a hardwood floor for dancing. Our
Events Coordinator is available and eager to help you turn any of life's
milestones into a memorable occasion. She can also provide referrals to
florists, caterers, photographers, etc. 
Our
kitchen is fully equipped with an eight-burner gas cooktop, two electric
ovens, a microwave and two dishwashers. Rates below are as of January, 2007.

Fees are based on a single block of time up to 4 hours in length (morning,
afternoon or evening). They are subject to change.
Sanctuary: $300
Fellowship Hall: $200
Kitchen: $100
Custodial Fee: $100 minimum
Pianist: $100
Piano rental only: $50
Sound system: $75 - Sound engineer is required at extra fee
Events coordinator: negotiable, according to size of event
Information
- Mission-style, vaulted Sanctuary, seats up to 165 in rows (for a ceremony), or up to 120 at tables for dining
- Fellowship Hall accommodates 110 seated at long tables, or 80 seated at round tables
- State-of-the-art kitchen makes food service extremely easy, pleasant, and convenient to either Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall
- Restrooms are family- and disabled-friendly
- Excellent grand piano in the Sanctuary, upright piano in the Fellowship Hall
- Fifteen 60-inch round tables, several 6-foot and 8-foot rectangular tables, and 150 folding chairs are available for use at no extra charge
- Sound system can be used if our sound engineer is also engaged
